Cheers!

Happy Christmas (should you celebrate it) to my two or three regular readers and modest handful of occasional stoppers-by. Thanks to you all for making my first experience of blogging a pleasant one. I’ve certainly enjoyed learning about the World of Blogs* and all the racing fans living within it and I hope my sometimes overly-long comments on your blogs haven’t been too intrusive. For those who don’t have a blog but still visit here, thanks for dropping by! Keep coming and feel free to comment from time to time. You might find yourself becoming a blogger before you know it – I did.
*I just can’t bring myself to use the word ‘Blogosphere’.

I will return before New Year with a GP2 Top Ten to close out that little series of blogs. I think as we head into 2009 it will be time to stop looking back at 2008, so I’m thinking about little bits on all the changes coming up. We’ll see if I get around to that!

In the meantime have a great few days, whatever you’re doing. Don’t eat too much turkey or drink too much mulled wine!

  1. Cheers to you as well, Pat! As a guy who uses solid logic as well as his passion when it comes to his racing punditry, you’re definitely one of my favorite racing bloggers to read. I only regret that you’re not based in the States, as the chances that I’d run into you at a racetrack are obviously far, far less. I’d love to buy you a beer at trackside someday, maybe if you make it over here for Indy, or if I can get over to some Euro F1 races down the road.I’m looking forward to reading more from you in 2009 and going head to head with you in a full ARFL season. Between you, Meesh, Ianucci, P-Dog and Yaumb, I get about all I can absorb, and it helps balance the rantings and opinions I have that might otherwise disrupt the natural balance of things…assuming, of course, that I have such balance (which some – or many – question!).Peace to you. Here’s hoping that the New Year will be a great one for all.

With the value of GBP against USD that much lower than it was I’m not sure I’ll be going to the US any time soon though. I’m hoping to get to the British GP for the next two years (Silverstone then Donington) but will require some saving to do it. ARFL will be fun!Mike: I’m the same, I read several blogs and try to listen to more podcasts than there is time for, not to mention catch all the races themselves.
