Congratulations Jon! This makes up for the rather low score of last week, what a way to come back. I’m next and I’m very happy with that result! Sebastian completes the rostrum.
Scores are a little more spread out than usual this week, that’s partly due there being four events to choose from and partly because one of those was a sportscar race and those who picked both of the winning drivers were rewarded.

Jon’s top score this week means he reigns in some of the gap lost last week, scoring nearly 100 points more than the two ahead of him and regaining some space on Startledbunny. I have closed in a little on Sebastian, again making up for a deficit last week.
RG’s 4th-best score this week propels him above The Speedgeek once again, these two have been having a battle for a little while now I think.
Not much other movement, though Jackie is beginning to get within range of Burwellian.
Results sheets will available on the TMR drop.io from Wednesday night.
Coming Up – Week 25
Two events this week:
Le Mans Series – The 1000 km of Portimao is held on Saturday evening and should end in darkness. The surprisingly thin entry list is on the official site, there are just 32 cars which is a significant drop from the usual 50 or so and that’s a shame.
IndyCar Series – IndyCars at Toronto’s Exhibition Place, now considered a traditional event for open-wheel cars despite usually being a war of attrition – that’s what makes it so challenging. It is a short and bumpy street course and completely unforgiving. More info at www.indycar.com
Enjoy the races!
Sorry about this but I have had the luck in the James-Sebastian like-for-like challenge since suggesting it. Week 24, there were eight drivers we both picked. James also chose Ogier (4th, 32 points) and Stewart (9th, 22), giving 54. I had Sordo (2nd, 40) plus Pickett (3rd, 35), providing 75, a gain of 21. This brings my lead to 104 points (after week 14 I was 115 behind), with James on 5099, myself on 5203.

I haven’t asked and I’m not sure that I will, I’ve always purposely kept the blog away from ‘real life’. I’ll continue to mull it over as a future project though.

It seems that some third drivers have appeared that were not on the ALMS entry-list when I made my initial selection, therefore this amended entry.
