How To Enter
1. Reply to this post.
2. List up to 10 drivers, with no more than 7 from a single event.

Another win for Sebastian! He was able to make some changes to his entry on Friday following the incidents in the WRC, and the F1 practice results – changing the underperforming Button and Hamilton for the successful Latvala and P.Solberg. Unfortunately I wasn’t near an internet connection for most of the day or I’d have mentioned the retirements as a comment (and I would’ve been able to remind James to enter..). All credit for making the switch, it is perfectly within the rules up to the cutoff and I’m surprised more didn’t do so.
Jon, Burwellian and I also made it over the 300 marker although we were some way behind.
It is worth noting that Jon, Burwellian, Speedgeek and Sebastian all picked the top four finishers in the F1 race. Speedgeek and Jackie were hit particularly hard by the WRC retirements of Hirvonen, H.Solberg and Raikkonen.
Sebastian has worked out the scores as well and shows them in a different format, if you would like to see how your drivers performed you can see the table here. You can also see the efficiency of each championship. He may or may not thank me for pointing out his embarrasment at doing so well since starting production of those tables – I just think it comes down to good picks and a willingness to make changes after the original entry if it looks like something isn’t going to work.

Sebastian’s lead is extended by a further 70 points over me, but I’m very happy to open a gap to RG who had previously closed in!
There’s a good fight for 4th between Sean and The Speedgeek with just five points between them.
Everything else is pretty much as it was, the table is pretty settled at the moment – come on, let’s shake it up a bit!
Results sheets will available on the TMR drop.io soon.
Coming Up – Week 28
Four events this week:
IZOD IndyCar Series and American Le Mans Series – Both series are at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. This is a fairly narrow and quite bumpy road course which doesn’t always feature a lot of passing in IndyCar, though the traffic of the different classes in the ALMS helps those guys set up moves.
NASCAR Sprint Cup – The shortened form of the Watkins Glen circuit in New York state, and the second of two road course events on the seemingly-300-oval-race Cup calendar. It should shake up the order a bit, expect the likes of Ambrose and Montoya to do well and I expect Johnson will too as he’s developing his road course skills. www.nascar.com
DTM – Meanwhile in Germany the DTM tackles a slightly shortened Nurburgring which skips the hairpin at the bottom of the hill. www.dtm.com
Okay that’s everything, I’m writing this while tired and a little distracted with music so if there are errors I will fix them later – enjoy the races!
I am embarassed (but also pleased) at my luck, which goes further back than the tables.

I know you’re away now but just in case you’re checking..
You only have 9 drivers this week. If you don’t post an entry before the cutoff I’ll carry forward one of your picks from last week – I’ll use the highest-placed of your picks in the current Cup standings (Denny Hamlin). The rest of last week’s picks are Ogier (already chosen) and F1 drivers (not racing this week).
Next week is fine.
You have 12 drivers for the week after next! I am not sure which to drop. I’m hoping you’ll be back to make a correction by that time, but if you are not I’ll probably drop the worst two of your DTM points according to their standings or finishing positions, as that’s the series you’ve chosen most.
To be honest I hadn’t thought of official rules for these cases so I’m making things up as I go, trying to be as fair as possible.

The CytoSport Porsche of Greg Pickett and Klaus Graf has been withdrawn from the ALMS race following a major accident which caused damage to the tub (and thankfully only minor damage to Pickett).
Sebastian, you may want to reconsider and everyone else be sure not to pick these drivers this week..

Thanks for the info. I rely on Autosport to keep me informed on that sort of thing but they neglected to mention it. I will have to redo my calculations and will update later. Annoyingly, I threw away the bits of paper on which I worked out the pros and cons for my last couple of choices.
