Hello and welcome to TMR Game Week 25.
This post accepts entries for these 2 events:
– MotoGP Sachsenring

Housekeeping
Each week you pick 10 entries with a maximum of 7 of those coming from a single championship. You can have any mix of races from those listed in this post, and you don’t have to use all of them.
See this page for the game rules.
Email reminders will be sent on Thursdays or Fridays by either myself or Sebastian. Please leave a valid email address in the comment form. If you do not wish to receive reminders please let us know, otherwise we’ll assume we’re okay to send them. Also let us know (privately if you prefer) if you would like to use a different address to the one you use here. I may also use Twitter or other sites if I happen to see you there on Thursday or Friday.

Do check the more detailed sheet produced by Sebastian.
What a great result for Sean! He proved himself right and most of us wrong by picking 2 from the top 5 in the Cup race which, Reutimann aside, did have a predictable top ten result.
Good results from Maverick and Jackie who keep saying they don’t know much about racing outside F1, I think you’re getting the hang of it now, keep it up!
A lot of people were hit by the DNF from Will Power, and a couple of people – Sebastian and Dylan – also picked Tony Kanaan so had this been a normal IndyCar street race they’d have scored much more than they actually did.
Interesting to see a three-way tie on 317 through three different strategies. And no I haven’t ranked them, this is just how Excel did it!. The reason I don’t rank them is that my day job is working in accounts where I deal with detail in numbers, when I get home I don’t want to do any more of that, I just want to award people their points and move on.

Sean scoring well and Sebastian scoring badly mean they switch positions again, with a bit of a buffer between them this time.
Jackie and Mav switch places yet again and are only a point apart! They are closing in on Andy and Felipe and have actually been doing so for 4 weeks now. Time for a fightback?
All else is quiet on the leaderboard save for The Crooked Cap who relegates James a position and sets off in pursuit of Dylan.
Gavin has increased his advantage over me by 10 points..
Upcoming Races
After a few hectic weeks we just have a choice from two races this time.
MotoGP – Sachsenring
The notable aspect of this course is the never-ending series of left-handers which start tight and gradually open out, looping around the opening sequence of corners. I’m not sure it means anything, it’s just odd. Wiki / MotoGP.com
NASCAR Cup: New Hampshire
A flat 1 mile oval, I might’ve been tempted to take more than 3 picks if the ‘companion race’ wasn’t the predictable MotoGP.. and I’ll still think about it. This is the first of two visits, the other being in September. Wiki / NASCAR.com
Good luck!
For what it is worth Loris Capirossi is returning this weekend, but I don’t reckon anyone will be picking him anyway.

Rats! I feel I let the Birmingham league down with that. Maybe I should have gone with Dyson, not TK, but I thought the other nine were solid picks.

They should favour Pedrosa’s shoulder funnily enough
