Congratulations Startledbunny on your second win of the year! The other win was at the Daytona 24 Hours.

Sean and RubberGoat managed to tie using totally different methods, well done guys! Sebastian is close behind.

Dylan got the wooden spoon, he lost a chunk of points due to Justin Wilson’s injury and withdrawal as well as a poor week for Castroneves.

Quite a lot of us picked the #20 Dyson hoping it would finish in the top ten or even get another overall podium, but it finally bit us and it was classified last, we only scored a point.

Drat, Gavin’s overtaken me again! Well done. Andy and Felipe are in close attendance too.

There are no other changes but Crooked Cap has closed the gap to Dylan to 5 points.

Races This Week

IndyCar New Hampshire

It has been several years since major open wheel racing has visited this short flat oval and as such it is quite difficult to predict what will happen using the current cars. You can’t really use the NASCAR events as a base. In theory it will be similar to past races at Richmond or Milwaukee, more driver-dependent than most ovals and heavy on traffic.

NASCAR Cup Watkins Glen

The second of two road courses on the Cup schedule, so look out for the likes of Montoya, Ambrose, Johnson, Stewart – and for the race stewards to turn a BTCC-style blind eye to contact racing.

MotoGP Brno

The long Czech circuit hosts round 11 and I suspect the big uphill drag will suit the Hondas, but perhaps the Yamahas are good enough around the corners to keep things interesting.

Good luck!

  1. Hey Ekström! You ruined my DTM score! Pleased with Rockenfeller’s podium though, had to have a good day on his local circuit.

  6. Those 10 little points will be nice and healthy, would be better if startledbunny didn’t have such a darn good week.

  7. NOTE – I see everyone’s avoided him but in case it was missed by anyone, Justin Wilson is out of IndyCar for several weeks/months due to injury. Tomas Scheckter will be driving the car instead.

I’m actually going to go for MotoGP and Cup this time, hoping I’ve finally got a handle on who is fast on a NASCAR road course, and also with IndyCar being at a long-absent venue.

  8. Stewart’s in decline this year. I think that’s the right call. I’d take Gordon instead even though he hasn’t had a good run at Watkins Glen in years… Gordon’s on a roll now.

    IndyCar: Dixon, Franchitti, Kanaan
