TMR Game 2011 – Week 43

Hello and welcome to TMR Game Week 42.

Just 2 weeks to go including this one and we only have one race in each week.

Housekeeping

Each week you pick 10 entries with a maximum of 7 of those coming from a single championship.
You can have any mix of races from those listed in this post, and you don’t have to use all of them.

See this page for the rules.

Email reminders will be sent on Thursdays or Fridays by either myself or Sebastian. Please leave a valid email address in the comment form.

Well done Jackie! A great score in both races entered leads to a clear win. Good work from Felipe and Gavin too, with Mav not far back.

Hard luck to Sean for what was yet another unlucky week – and it was luck not bad picks, with Kenseth, Gordon and Kurt Busch only scoring a total of ten points.

Please see the results produced by Sebastian for the points spread.

With only small-scoring weeks to go it looks like the title is sewn up, so a provisional congratulations to Sebastian!

Maverick has closed the gap to me once again and that’s the closest fight in the game. Felipe and Jackie are in a good battle with Speedgeek, so that makes positions 4-8 all up in the air!

Races This Week

NASCAR Cup Homestead-Miami

The Sprint Cup comes to a close at Homestead in Florida. The championship has come down to a two-way fight between Carl Edwards and Tony Stewart.

Remember, even though there is only one race you can still only pick 7 drivers from one series, you can’t use all ten slots. If you do I’ll take the first 7 listed.

Coming Soon

This is the penultimate week, next week we’ll have the season finale, the F1 Grand Prix at Interlagos, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

I’m going out with a bang here. I hope. Oh, who am I kidding? This lineup is a recipe for a 14 point week. I stand by it.

  4. Congratulations, Sebastian. I’ll still make one more Hail Mary attempt. I can’t do that with the F1 race since the F1 results are nearly identical every race. I need to take seven different drivers from Sebastian…

Toying with picking Clint Bowyer but think I’ll stick to that – a move that should bring him plenty of luck based on my past form
