We’re back at Suzuka! F1 fans have missed this place after a couple of visits to the sanitised Fuji circuit, both of which suffered with heavy rain. Suzuka is thankfully untouched other than a bit of resurfacing, a new pit complex and a lick of paint!
In any given season whenever they are on the calendar the top two circuits drivers list as their favourites are Spa and Suzuka. Designed in the 1960s as a test track, this circuit has everything. A tricky first section, a fast last section and the only track crossover in major motorsports as well as the potential for rain, as we saw in Friday practice which heavily limited the running.
Remember Jenson Button only needs to outscore Rubens Barrichello by five points to be crowned the 2009 F1 Champion.
