2018 Calendars: British GT

2018 British GT Series

British GT racing series for FIA GT3 and GT4 cars with two drivers per car, these days run by the SRO using Blancpain BoP.

Three race meetings feature 2 x 60 minute races.
Three race meetings feature 1 x 120 minute race.
And the Silverstone 500 is a 180 minute enduro.

There are only two changes and those are just housekeeping:

Oulton Park moves to early April to stay in line with the traditional Easter Monday date.

Spa-Francorchamps is 2 weeks later than last year and now runs the Sunday before the Total 24 Hours of Spa.

I visited the Oulton Park event last year, the day after Silverstone WEC so I was absolutely shattered and faced a 4 or 5 hour drive home after, but did it anyway and was thoroughly rewarded. What a great event! It was both professional and relaxed, that’s very difficult to pull off and Oulton Park and British GT did it well. And at such a track with an amazing atmosphere. I cannot recommend this event highly enough.
