Abu Dhabi is a new addition. We lose Portugal, USA and Germany. The calendar contracts from 12 rounds last year to 10 this year.
Catalunya and Belgium are replaced by Britain and Norway. Germany transfers from being a WRC round to an ERX round, expanding the ERX calendar to 6 events. Germany is the only standalone, the other 5 rounds run in support to WRX.
After GRC folded and the new ARX ran a limited schedule in 2018, this year is a growth year. Mid-Ohio is a new addition with two events based around the track’s famous keyhole, the first opens the season and the last is the championship finale. There’s a double-header at Gateway. COTA transfers from being a WRX round to an ARX round. The series supports WRX at Trois-Rivières.
