Xfinity Series – What’s Changed?
Mostly the changes are just general date shuffling, whether it is to move the early season to make way for Easter, or to mirror the sister Cup Series later in the year.
The first Dover race moves from June to May.
Chicagoland moves to July.
Indianapolis moves from July to early September.
Richmond is a little later, to be in the Playoffs.
Kentucky held an autumn race last year, this has been replaced with Las Vegas.
The final change is to run the Charlotte Motor Speedway Playoff round on their road / oval ‘roval’ course.
Truck Series – What’s Changed?
Las Vegas gets a second visit. Trucks join the other two series at their visit in March. The Trucks already had a visit in September, to which the other two series have been added for the first time.
Dover moves from June to May.
Iowa and Gateway switch places in June.
Chicagoland moves from September to July.
Loudon loses its date.
