The FIA World Touring Car Cup Presented By Oscaro is the World TCR series.
Complete with awful mashup branding combining WTCC with TCR which really doesn’t work… but the racing works very well!

Date | Race | Country |
6/7 Apr | Marrakesh | Morocco |
27/28 Apr | Hungaroring | Hungary |
11/12 May | Slovakiaring | Slovakia |
18/19 May | Zandvoort | Netherlands |
21/22 Jun | Nürburgring Nordschleife | Germany |
6/7 Jul | Vila Real | Portugal |
14/15 Sep | Ningbo | China |
26/27 Oct | Suzuka | Japan |
16/17 Nov | Macau | Macau |
13/14 Dec | Sepang | Malaysia |
The Nürburgring moves from May to June along with the 24 Hour race which WTCR is supporting. This is actually the weekend Vila Real used last year, so it has to move 2 weeks later this year.
Slovakiaring moves from July to take the May date used by Nürburgring last year.
The other major change is Sepang which joins the series as the finale in December.
TCR International once ended their season at Macau and it was absolute carnage. I think it makes sense to separate the pressure of winning around this street track from the pressure of the championship decider.
